Landlocked Parcel

What You Can Do If you are a resident of Burlington, please consider exploring other options with your town, rather than approving this proposal to destroy this precious land.

Photo Fundraiser: Support the Friends of the Landlocked Forest by purchasing a photography of the Landlocked Forest. We also offer photo puzzles, T-shirts, aprons, tote bags, mousepads, mugs and bookmarks. All proceeds will go to support our organization.

Urge Burlington officials to preserve our town treasure by turning the Landlocked Parcel into Conservation Land and creating better access to the land for residents . Some options to explore are building a footbridge under/over Route 3, creating a small rest area off of the exit ramp from Route 3 to 95S, or working with Lexington and Bedford to create parking areas at trailheads in those towns. Names and phone numbers of town meeting members can be found here.

Print this flyer and use it to help spread the word!

Contact Town Officials to suggest alternative uses for the Landlocked Parcel including designating the land as Conservation Land and suggest ways to improve access to the trails for Burlington residents.

Attend Meetings of the Conservation Commission

Write a letter to the editor of the Burlington Union newspaper and email it to burlington@cnc.com; Burlington Daily Times Chronicle and email it to news@woburnonline.com  to the attention of John White; or the Boston Globe Northwest section and email it to globenorthwest@globe.com with your name, hometown, and daytime phone number (number for verification only)
